Q-Storming® is a collaborative thinking and creativity process, akin to brainstorming, that stimulates the discovery of new questions and new possibilities. It is so powerful because great results begin with great qestions. It often makes a breakthrough difference in decision-making, problem-solving, strategic planning and innovation.
Q-Storming® is valuable for teams or groups and for individuals in contexts such as coaching, management and sales. We offer two levels of training in the Q-Storming® process; corporate in-house trainings are also available.
Q-Storming® Basics is a four-session introductory teleseminar that teaches the mechanics of the process. The Q-Storming® Facilitator Certification Program is an eight-month program beginning with a two and a half day workshop, followed by ten seminar sessions and also includes individual coaching sessions and participation in a Q-Storming® project. This program is by application only.

The Q-Storming® Basics Teleseminar Series is perfect for coaches, consultants, mentors, leaders, managers, counselors and educators. (CCEU's from International Coaching Federation - application in process). All sessions are recorded and available 24/7. Marilee G. Adams, Ph.D., founder and president of the Inquiry Institute, is an organizational consultant, trainer, author, executive coach, and professional speaker. Marilee is also the originator of the QuestionThinking™ System. She first presented the foundation for this work in The Art of the Question: A Guide to Short-Term Question-Centered Therapy, a textbook in psychology that was the culmination of her long career as a psychotherapist. This cognitive-behavioral text was called “a seminal and breakthrough contribution of the decade in the field of psychotherapy.”
In addition to The Art of the Question (John Wiley & Sons, 1997), Marilee wrote Change Your Questions, Change Your Life: 7 Powerful Tools for Life and Work (Berrett-Koehler Publishers, 2004). She authored a chapter in Positively M.A.D.: Making a Difference in our Organizations, Communities, and the World (Berrett-Koehler, 2004). She also co-authored, with Dr. Marge Schiller and Dr. David Cooperrider, a chapter for the first book in the series, Advances in Appreciative Inquiry—Constructive Discourse and Human Organization (Elsevier Publishers, 2004). Her published articles include “Expert Coaching with Expert Questions” and “The Spirit and Discipline of Organizational Inquiry.”
Marilee has been featured in national print, television, and radio media. She and her husband, artist Ed Adams (www.AdamsArt.com) live in the arts community and river town of Lambertville, New Jersey.
